no update for quite a while...so sit down and read:

SABO44 - TERRIBLE FEELINGS: IMPENDING DOOM 7''
Terrible Feelings’ date of birth was sometime during the fall of 2009, in
Malmö, Sweden. Anton and Manuela had been set on trying out new stuff that
was different from their previous band constellations, and recruited Andy and
Willy along the way. In April 2010 the band released a four-song demo, to some pretty rave
reviews. Since then, they’ve played all over Sweden and Germany, and shared stages with a variety of bands; Cheap Time, Cola Freaks, Screaming Females, and Tyvek, among others.
The spring of 2011 saw the release of two 7”s. Tied Up on Timmeheiehumme
Records from Germany, and Impending Doom, a co-release between Sabotage
Records and Manuela’s own Lack Of Sleep imprint.
Someone described the music as “Loud, dark, therapeutic, and rough around
the edges”, and Anton once said he played “black angst-ridden power pop.” Both quotes sum up Terrible Feelings pretty well. Place their sound somewhere in the wastelands between Wipers, Redd Kross, Ebba Grön and Murder City Devils.
In June they’ll embark on a three week European tour, which will take them through Germany, France, Spain and Switzerland. A Japanese release on the label Donuts Pop is scheduled for early fall 2011, and Scotch Tapes from Canada will release the demo tracks on tape and flexi disc sometime soon.

Formed in 2006, they've been developing their craft over 4 years...preparing, and finally executing...this is the debut album from the Montreal power pop punk combo. Sabo 40: HERO DISHONEST - DANGEROUS LP/CD/DL
Recorded during the winter and spring of 2010, DANGEROUS is the new full length album from Finlands Hero Dishonest. During their eleven years of existence they have put out four lp's before this one, and probably played at a club/bar/squat/punk house near you.
Like with their previous releases, DANGEROUS continues to add new elements
to the bands hardcore punk based sound. This time more midtempo and
melodic influences have been introduced to the bands trademark hyperspeed
thrash. During the four years that the record gradually took shape
(between tours, jobs, illnesses and changing diapers), the band managed to
come up with their most versatile collection of songs to date.
The record also includes the Cd version of the Album....
The download version of the album contains a bonus live concert, recorded in
Vilnius, Lithuania in the fall of 2009.

Past and present members of Portland hardcore mainstays such as Remains Of The Day, Hellshock, Warcry, Lebenden Toten, etc pull a 180 and dish out ten tracks of icy, ominous postpunk.
Since their last release, The Estranged have dialed back the explicit aggression of their early singles a bit, and dialed up the textured, atmospheric, layered sounds of prime 80s deathrock/postpunk. Hey folks,
The Now-Denial will split up this year. We collectively decided to let go this band. and is this it? yes, almost. it´s been a wonderful time the last nine and a half years and we want to leave with a couple of big bangs. we are about to play some final shows, there will be a last 12" on hardware records (a collection of songs written and recorded over the last one and a half years) and there will most likely be some last merch. we hope it´ll be finished for the shows in september.
we would like to thank all the people who supported us one way or the other over almost a decade. we´ve seen more of the world than we expected, we stayed around longer and written more and better music than we imagined and we met more great people through the band than seemed possible, when we entered the mouldy, shitty rehearsal room in bielefeld for the first time on grey winterday in late 2000.
We are fucking happy about what we achieved and we want to celebrate this and say a heartfelt goodbye at the following dates:

Union town: Blinding Lights 7" out now!!!
we are really happy to bring you this record..
The ‘Blinding Lights’ EP contains three new Union Town songs that capture the band’s shape anno 2010. The songs were written in the course of a year and were tested on the crowd in different variations during live shows. Raw takes and jams were carefully reshaped and re-recorded in cooperation with Mark van der Male, a friend of the band. Enriched with the artwork of Mara Piccione, who also worked on Union Town’s debut album, the EP will be released as Sabotage Records #34 in May 2010. Comes with a free MP3 download.

Friends,
so here is the first real newsletter since a long time. I was out of town, toured with polite sleeper and team robespierre throughout europe. it felt really good to be out of town for a couple of weeks. i met some old friends and made some new ones. it also helped me realizing how important the whole thing here is for me, cause the months before were kinda hard for me. always close to burnout and totally broke. the summer really sucked here at the shop and i had lots of troubles paying my bills and debts to distros and friends. i really wanna apologize for that and that people had to wait for their money and their orders, trades etc. i´m still in the process setting this whole operation up here and the hardest part is teaching myself to work on a regular basis, giving myself a structure and getting things done. being your own "boss" is not always the easiest way. so once again, sorry for all the mess and troubles you peope had with me over the last couple of months. i´m trying to get better and it seems that it works out right now
there are lot of exciting things going on and the next couple of months will be really busy... don´t know where to start, but here we go..
i´m doing the european version of the Estranged ''static thoughts'' LP. i'm waiting for the layout and the master right now. as soon as i have it,the record goes to the pressing plant.
the japanther ''skuffed up my huffy" lp is in the pressing plant. it took way too long to get this record out, but there were troubles with the master and the layout. this will be a coop with altin village and mine from dresden. sorry to them and the band, that it took so long. i'm expecting the testpressing in the next couple of days... check out japanther's new record on wantage usa

i'm also really happy to do the next Autistic Youth record in spring 2009. This will be another great coop with my beloved friend michl from Taken by Surprise records. Dirtnap and Black Water will release the Record in the States. There is not really a release date yet....
togehter with Michl/Taken by Surprise i will do a 12'' of a band called Bad Parents. they are great... check them out here. they are recording right now and there is no release date set yet...
you should check out all the other releases from Taken by Surprise. great stuff.
Digger Barnes is working on his first Full Length. he is right into the recording process and what i heard so far sounds pretty cool. he just came back from a long, long tour with Chuck ragan, austin lucas, Tim Barry and some other guys. he will also playing with Chuck Ragan on his upcoming european tour in january 2009.
i'm gonna do this record togehter with Elmar from Hometown caravan, another really lovely guy..
Mönster are touring again. in january their doing spain and in march Poland togehter with The Now-Denial..
The Now-Denial are back on the map.. having a new band member, they have lot's of shows coming up.. they also recorded a new 7".
Polite sleeper just came back from their third eueopean tour and it was really great.. shows were good and we saw a lot of new places and met really nice people.. thanks to everybody..
they are starting recording for a new album this weekend.. i heard the new songs and they are really great.. can´t wait to hear the recordings.there might do some blogging around the recording sessions..
Austin lucas is recording for his upcoming record on suburban home. can´t wait to hear that either.. he has plans to come back to europe in spring, but no dates are fixed yet....check out his site for updates

first of all, i started screen printing some shirts with my friend ARMSROCK, a great artist from denmark..
the shirt is called.. "death's finger is freelance". This is the first edition of shirts we are doing together..
they are all limited to 50 pieces . no more. each with unique mistakes.

finally the vinyl version from the Polite Sleeper Debut Cd is out..
its an one sided 12" and it looks pretty nice...
just got the recordings from the upcoming album..sounds great..
will be send to the pressing plant this week..
the cd version will be ready soon..
the vinyl version will be ready for their tour in april...

Polite Sleeper is the new folk punk, experimental side-project from Jason
(guitar) and Tim (drums) of The Yellow Press (Day After). Pretty crazy stuff at times,
but the songs are simple and sweet – all about missing one thing or another, about the
new challenges and new relationships since moving from San Francisco to Brooklyn, NY nearly
two years ago.
More important, PS is a punk band. They’re 100% DIY, choosing to record in living rooms
and kitchens, exclusively. They keep traffic noise and dead notes as reminders of that,
and stay true by playing basements and warehouses, even proper clubs where they don’t
quite belong, but take the chance at meeting like minds anyway. They believe it and you should too.
